Huntsville's popular downtown playground has been given a fresh new look
The Town of Huntsville announced last night that the new playground at River Mill Park is now complete.
The Town has finished replacing the popular downtown play area, which had been in place since 2008. The upgrade includes inclusive features such as a wheelchair-accessible glider and a sensory-friendly roller slide.
The $320,000 project was approved in the 2025 budget and began in late September. The new playground is now open for families to enjoy.
