The Ministry of Natural Resources is warning that flooding conditions in Muskoka are expected to worsen in the coming days.
Officials say rising water levels are being driven by ongoing northern runoff combined with additional rainfall moving through the region.
Communities including Huntsville, Bracebridge and surrounding areas are already seeing high water and road closures, with more impacts expected as the system continues to move south.
The ministry says conditions will be closely monitored, but further increases in water levels are likely over the next several days.
