About
Welcome to Hunters Bay Radio—Muskoka’s only locally owned, volunteer-powered, and not-for-profit radio station! We’re more than just a station; we’re a community hub that thrives on connection, creativity, and a whole lot of heart.
Community First, Always.
At The Bay, we’re all about giving back to the place we call home. Over the years, we’ve proudly invested over $750,000 in donations to support local charities, initiatives, and causes that make Muskoka stronger.

Locally Owned, Uniquely Muskoka.
We’re the only radio station in the area that’s truly local—rooted in Muskoka, run by Muskokans & Almaguin Highlanders, and for Muskoka and the Almaguin Highlands. With a passionate team of volunteers, we deliver content that reflects the spirit of our community, from one-of-a-kind music to stories that matter most to our listeners.
Award-Winning Excellence.
For five years running, we’ve been voted the Best Radio Station in Muskoka, and it’s all thanks to you—our loyal listeners. Your support keeps us going and inspires us to keep raising the bar.

Why We’re Different.
We’re fueled by volunteers (your neighbours) who love this community as much as you do.
Our programming is a vibrant mix of local music, talk shows, and news you won’t find anywhere else.
As a not-for-profit, every dollar we make goes back into making Muskoka a better place.
Whether you tune in for the music, the stories, or the chance to hear your neighbor on-air, Hunters Bay Radio is your station, your voice, and your community.
