The deadline for free drop off of storm damaged brush is May 31
The District of Muskoka says time is running out to drop off storm-damaged brush and wood for free at Muskoka transfer stations.
The District says the temporary fee waiver ends at the end of the month.
Since April, residents have brought in nearly 8,000 tonnes of debris from the spring ice storm.
That material is now being turned into free wood chips, available starting May 26th at the Rosewarne Landfill and Beiers and Eveleigh stations.
