Wednesday, 4 March 2026 08:32

The culprit stole more than $200 worth of merchandise

Police are asking for the public’s help after a daytime shoplifting incident at a grocery store in Gravenhurst.

Bracebridge OPP say the theft happened February 26th around 3:10 in the afternoon at a store on Edward Street. Officers began investigating two days later.

The suspect is accused of stealing more than $200 worth of merchandise before leaving the scene in a small grey four-door car.

He’s described as wearing blue jeans, black shoes, a black jacket — which he removed inside the store — and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Bracebridge OPP.
