Applications are open until May 29th
The Town of Gravenhurst is now accepting applications for its annual Gravenhurst High School bursary.
Mayor Heidi Lorenz says the $2000 award is aimed at helping a graduating student cover some of the costs of post-secondary education. She says the town is proud to support local youth as they continue their studies.
Students applying must complete an application form, submit a letter of support from an educator, and write an essay. This year’s topic asks applicants to suggest activities or spaces that could strengthen community connections in Gravenhurst.
Applications are due May 29th and more information is available on the town’s website.
