Driver in the ditch ends up with impaired charges

The incident happened on Hwy 11 on Thursday

A Sarnia man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash north of Huntsville.

The OPP responded to the collision on Highway 11 northbound, north of Stephenson Road 2, shortly after 9pm Thursday.

Emergency crews found the vehicle in the ditch, resting on its passenger side.

A 46-year-old man is charged with operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80, as well as impaired operation by alcohol and drugs.

He was released and will appear in Bracebridge court October 27th.
