The Bracebridge Fall Fair gets underway today at J.D. Lang Activity Park, celebrating its 156th anniversary.
The three-day event runs through Sunday, with livestock and animal shows, live entertainment, a midway, wagon rides, line dancing and a parade.
Organizers expect tens of thousands of people to attend, with last year’s fair drawing close to 50,000 visitors.
Admission is five dollars today and ten dollars Saturday and Sunday.
