Bracebridge’s new Coulson Family Library has picked up a major provincial award for architectural excellence.
The Ontario Library Association presented the 2025 Library Building Award this week, celebrating the library’s innovation, sustainability, and community impact. It’s part of the new Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, the town’s largest-ever capital project.
The state-of-the-art space opened last October and features light-filled reading areas, a recording studio, a youth zone inspired by Anishinaabe culture, and accessible design throughout.
Mayor Rick Maloney says the award is a proud moment for Bracebridge and shows what’s possible when a community shares a strong vision.
