A Watershed Conditions Statement is now in effect for the Muskoka River and Black River watersheds.
The Ministry of Natural Resources is warning that recent heavy rainfall has raised water levels and river flows above normal, creating potentially dangerous conditions near lakes and rivers. Flooding is not expected, but caution is advised, especially for families and pet owners.
