The Hunters Bay Radio Team is matching donations up to $10,000
This Sunday, September 14, Huntsville residents are taking part in the 37th annual Terry Fox Run to raise funds for cancer research. Registration kicks off at 8 a.m. at Huntsville High School, with the run starting at 9 a.m.
Huntsville raised over $46,000 last year and was recognized by the Foundation for having raised over $1.4 million over the years. Schools raised an additional $15,000 last year.
Hunters Bay Radio is joining the effort by matching donations up to $10,000, doubling the impact of community contributions. Details at https://run.terryfox.ca/team/hunters-bay-radio
Steve Ainger, an organizer with the Huntsville run, says every donation and step counts, and together, participants continue Terry’s Marathon of Hope. The run helps fund top cancer researchers, keeping Terry’s legacy alive.
