OPP report 32 deaths this year due a lack of proper restraints
The OPP is reminding drivers to buckle up after reporting 32 people died on Ontario roads in the first half of this year in crashes where seat belts or proper child restraints were a contributing factor.
Police say wearing a seat belt remains one of the easiest ways to reduce the risk of death or serious injury in a collision.
The OPP is also urging parents and caregivers to make sure children are properly secured in the correct car seat or booster seat on every trip.
