Nelson takes on Mexican Cristian Perez
Huntsville MMA fighter, Kyle “The Monster” Nelson is heading back to the UFC Octagon next month.
Nelson will fight Mexico’s Cristian Perez at UFC Fight Night in Edmonton on October 17.
Nelson, who is from Huntsville, will compete in the lightweight division at Rogers Place. He enters the fight with a professional record of 17 wins, seven losses and one draw.
The Edmonton card features 13 Canadian fighters, the most on a UFC event in the organization’s history.
