The funds could offer $5k-$10k
The Township of Lake of Bays is expanding its Community Fund program to offer more support to local groups and students.
At this week’s council meeting, members approved three funding streams totalling $24,500. That includes a $10,000 charity fund, a $5,000 student bursary, and a $5,000 grant for not-for-profits.
The Muskoka Community Foundation is managing the application process, with the township reviewing final recommendations.
Applications for the grant program are open now until June 4.
