The amusement park is getting ready for its May opening
Heavy rain and spring snowmelt are causing widespread flooding across parts of Muskoka, and one local attraction is taking a direct hit.
Santa's Village says parts of the park are currently underwater after fast-rising water levels moved through the Bracebridge area.
The seasonal attraction shared that while it’s not the opening they were planning for, staff are already on-site assessing damage and beginning cleanup work as floodwaters impact sections of the property.
The park is still preparing for its summer season, which is expected to begin with weekend operations in May before shifting to daily hours later in June.
