Residents can submit proposals for ue of town-owned services or assets
The Town of Huntsville is inviting residents and community groups to help shape the 2027 Mayor’s Budget.
The Community and User Group Budget Request application process is now open. Residents can submit proposals for town-owned services or assets, including one-time purchases like equipment or ongoing initiatives such as new programs.
Applications are available at huntsville.ca and must be submitted by March 16th.
Director of Financial Services Julia McKenzie says the process is designed to improve transparency and give Council a clearer understanding of potential budget impacts early on.
Town staff will meet with applicants in April, with final decisions on requests expected later in the budget process.
