Federal offender known to visit the Magnetawan area

Police ask that you report any sightings immediately

Police are asking for help locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement, or R.O.P.E., Squad says 39-year-old Eric Richard Joseph Cardinal breached his statutory release. He’s described as an Indigenous male, 5-foot tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, and a dragon tattoo on his right arm. Cardinal is serving a sentence for robbery, assault, and other offences.

He’s known to frequent Timmins, Magnetawan, Elliot Lake, and Toronto. Anyone with information is urged to contact the R.O.P.E. Squad immediately.
