The woman left impaired and was later seen driving a damaged vehicle
Huntsville OPP have charged an 18-year-old woman after a series of overnight incidents that began with a reported dispute in Baysville.
Officers say the suspect left the scene intoxicated early Sunday morning and was later spotted driving a damaged vehicle on Brunel Road. Police found the car at a nearby property and tracked footprints to where the driver was hiding.
Investigators say she was impaired, had cannabis in the vehicle, assaulted people who tried to stop her from driving, and had fled a collision.
Kira Blanchard of Huntsville faces multiple charges and is due in court in January. Her licence is suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
