Bracebridge appoints new Fire Chief

The Town of Bracebridge has appointed Kevin Plested

The Town of Bracebridge has appointed Kevin Plested as its new Director of Emergency Services and Fire Chief, effective March 28.

Plested brings 27 years of fire service experience, including leadership roles in Vaughan and Bracebridge.

Since joining the Bracebridge Fire Department in 2022 as a Fire Prevention Officer, he has led fire safety education efforts and inspections. T

own officials say his leadership and dedication to public safety make him the right choice for the role.
