Portions of the Baysville area and community centre are expected to re-open later this week
There’s progress to report at the Community Centre, Arena and Library facility in Baysville.
The Township of Lake of Bays says the library portion of the building has officially reopened after crews completed work to bypass a damaged maintenance room containing critical building systems. Library services and programs are now resuming, with access available from Carol Street.
The arena and community centre, including lacrosse and pickleball programming, remain closed, and part of the parking lot is still fenced off. Township staff say work continues, with hopes of reopening more areas later this week.
