Rush Announces “Fifty Something” Tour with Canadian Dates in 2026

Friday, 24 October 2025 00:05

Legendary Canadian rock band Rush will hit the road in 2026 for their first tour since 2015

Rush, the legendary Canadian rock band, is set to embark on their highly anticipated "Fifty Something" tour in 2026, marking their first live performances since 2015 and their first without the late drummer Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020. The tour is a tribute to their enduring legacy and a celebration of over five decades of musical innovation.

The Canadian leg of the tour will include multiple dates across the country, offering fans the opportunity to experience the band's iconic sound live once again. The tour will commence on August 7th at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, with additional performances on August 9, 11, and 13. Following the Toronto shows, the band will perform at the Bell Centre in Montreal on September 2, before concluding the Canadian dates at Rogers Place in Edmonton on December 10. The Canadian leg of the tour will wrap up with a final performance at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on December 15, 2026.

Each concert will feature two sets, showcasing a rotating selection of 35 songs from the band's extensive catalog, including classics such as "Tom Sawyer," "The Spirit of Radio," and "Limelight." The setlists will vary nightly, providing a unique experience for attendees at each venue.

Joining founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson on this monumental tour is German drummer Anika Nilles, known for her work with Jeff Beck. Nilles brings her exceptional technical skill and musicality to the band, filling the formidable shoes of the late Neil Peart.

The "Fifty Something" tour is not just a reunion; it is a celebration of Rush's profound impact on the music industry and their unwavering connection with fans. With the addition of new dates and the inclusion of Canadian cities, the tour promises to be a memorable event for music enthusiasts across the continent.

Tickets for the Canadian dates will go on sale on October 31, 2025, through various platforms, including the official Rush website and authorized ticket vendors. Given the band's enduring popularity and the limited number of shows, fans are encouraged to secure their tickets promptly to avoid disappointment.

This tour marks a significant chapter in Rush's illustrious career, offering fans a chance to relive the magic of their live performances and celebrate the band's legacy in a fitting tribute to Neil Peart's memory.
