The landmark is expected to re-open to traffic by the end of the year
Drivers and pedestrians are being reminded that Bracebridge’s Silver Bridge remains closed as repair work moves into its next phase.
The District of Muskoka says crews are now installing a temporary support structure as part of a long-planned rehabilitation of the historic bridge, which has been closed since early last year for safety reasons.
The District says the bridge is on track to reopen by the end of 2026, with construction updates available online.
