The wildfire was reported yesterday
Yesterday a new wildfire was reported northeast of Huntsville, just north of Highway 60 in Algonquin Park.
The Ministry of Natural Resources says the fire was first reported around 1:30 Monday, and is about one-tenth of a hectare in size. It’s has since been put out.
A total fire ban remains in effect across Muskoka, with no open-air burning or fireworks allowed until further notice.
