The men were fined $6,000
Three local men have lost their fishing licences for a year and were fined a total of $6,000 for overfishing walleye in northern Ontario. Kevin Stephenson and Kenneth Bullock of Huntsville, and Ray Thom of Baysville, were caught with 29 walleye from Lady Evelyn Lake—well above the legal limit.
Conservation officers also seized a drone showing video of the illegal catch and camping without permits. The case was heard in Haileybury earlier this year.
