Police are investigating after the school received a threatening call yesterday
Police are investigating a reported threat at a local school in Bracebridge.
Officers with the Bracebridge OPP say they were called just before 9:00 Tuesday morning after a threatening phone call was received at the Muskoka Falls Public school.
Police say the situation did not disrupt normal school operations, and there is currently no threat to the safety of students or staff.
However, as a precaution, those inside the school remained indoors while officers worked to determine the validity and source of the call.
The investigation is ongoing.
