Last night's storm has caused significant power outages across the region
Hydro One says thunderstorms moving through southern and central Ontario have caused power outages, and crews are working to restore electricity as quickly and safely as possible.
There are dozens of reported outages in the region and hundreds province wide. While many outages are still being assessed, some outages will be restored by this afternoon.
An estimated restoration time will be provided once damage assessments are complete.
Hydro One reminds you to stay clear of any fallen power lines – keep at least 10 metres back, even if they appear dormant, and report them to 911 and Hydro One immediately.
