Fire crews were called to a fully involved house fire in Huntsville yesterday afternoon. The Huntsville–Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a blaze on Oak Ridge Road, where firefighters found the home heavily damaged with the roof collapsed.
Crews from Huntsville and Port Sydney remained on scene for several hours to extinguish the fire.
The homeowner and a pet were not inside at the time, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire could not be determined due to extensive damage.
