Bundled brush should be no longer than 3x2ft
The District of Muskoka is reminding others to prepare their debris from the spring storm for curbside collection starting Monday, April 21.
The service will run for three weeks in the urban areas of Gravenhurst, Muskoka Lakes, and Bracebridge. Bundled brush helps make pickup faster and safer, but crews will also collect unbundled brush that meets these limits:
- No longer than 3 feet
- No wider than 2 feet
- Weighing under 55 lbs
The District warns that larger debris like logs and stumps won’t be collected.
Free brush drop-off is available at most District transfer stations until April 30. Sites will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
