Entrepreneurs could apply for $5,000 grants
Local entrepreneurs and small business owners have more time to apply for support through the Starter Company Plus program.
The Muskoka Small Business Centre has extended the application deadline to Thursday, August 27, with limited spots available.
The program offers small-group training, one-on-one business advice, mentorship and networking opportunities. Participants can also pitch for a grant of up to $5,000 to help grow their business.
The program is open to people looking to turn a business idea or side hustle into a full-time venture, as well as existing businesses looking to grow.
