The donation was made by recent full time resident Bob Jacob
The South Muskoka Hospital Foundation has received a $1 million donation from local resident Bob Jacob, a gift officials say will help improve patient care.
Jacob, who recently moved to Muskoka full-time, says he was motivated to support better access to testing, diagnostics, and specialist care.
The foundation says the donation will enhance services and equipment at the hospital, and marks a major boost for healthcare in the region.
