Smoke and hazy skies are being reported across Huntsville as wildfire smoke from outside the region drifts into the area.
There are no active wildfires in the Huntsville area, and Environment Canada has not issued an air quality alert. However, with a heat warning also in effect, residents sensitive to poor air quality are encouraged to limit time outdoors, keep windows closed if smoke is noticeable, and check on vulnerable neighbours.
Anyone who spots smoke or signs of a nearby fire should call 911 immediately.
