A RIDE check in Muskoka has led to another impaired driving charge. Police say officers in Port Carling spotted a vehicle trying to avoid a checkpoint on Medora Street Thursday evening.
The vehicle was located shortly after, and a 27-year-old Bala man was arrested. He’s facing charges of impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in Bracebridge in mid-June.
