OPP investigating two break-and-enters that took place in Gravenhurst during ice storm
Bracebridge OPP is investigating two break-and-enters that took place in Gravenhurst during the ice storm.
Police say the incidents happened between late Saturday, and early Monday, at two restaurants near Muskoka Road South and James Street. Both businesses share a parking lot, one at the north end and one at the south.
Investigators say unknown suspect(s) used the widespread power outage to their advantage, smashing glass doors to gain entry and stealing a quantity of cash.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bracebridge OPP or Crime Stoppers.
