All 3 drivers lost their rides for a week
Huntsville OPP arrested three drivers for impaired-related offences over the Canada Day long weekend.
Just after midnight on June 28, a RIDE check on Main Street West led to charges against 44-year-old Brampton man for driving over the legal blood alcohol limit.
Later that day, police stopped a vehicle on Landsdowne Street and arrested 36-year-old Huntsville man for impaired driving and refusing a breath demand.
Then on June 29, a man riding an ATV without a helmet fled from police on Harp Lake Road. Officers later arrested 54-year-old Donald Gallagher of Huntsville, who now faces multiple charges including impaired driving, fleeing police, and driving while suspended.
All three drivers had their licenses suspended for 90 days and their vehicles impounded for a week.
