Runs were held across the Almaguin Highlands
Members of the Almaguin Highlands OPP joined the 2025 Special Olympics Torch Run yesterday, taking part in community walks across Burk's Falls, Sundridge, South River, and Almaguin Highlands Secondary School.
The event raised funds and awareness for people with intellectual disabilities in the region.
Local fire departments pitched in with traffic control and support, helping to make the event a success.
For over 35 years, Almaguin Special Olympics has promoted health, confidence, and connection through sport. Funds raised will help local athletes thrive on and off the field.
