Monday, 28 July 2025 07:15

The multi-jurisdictional investigation resulted in 3 people being charged

Several people are facing serious charges after a major drug bust in Huntsville this week.

The OPP’s Muskoka Community Street Crime Unit launched an investigation this past spring into suspected drug trafficking in the area. On Thursday, officers carried out coordinated raids at homes in Huntsville and Thorold, with help from several specialized OPP units and detachments across Central Ontario.

Multiple controlled substances were seized, and three people were charged, including 34-year-old Courtney Jeshuron of Thorold, 34-year-old Michael Pham of Toronto, and 64-year-old Jonathan Kaye of Huntsville. Charges range from trafficking and conspiracy to weapons offenses and participation in a criminal organization.

Two of the accused were held for bail hearings, while one was released and is scheduled to appear in court in Bracebridge.
