The incident took place at Huntsville Place Mall
Huntsville OPP arrested a man yesterday after reports of a weapon being brandished near the Huntsville Place Mall.
Police say 22-year-old Easton Childerhose was acting aggressively with what appeared to be a knife.
He was located shortly after at a nearby apartment and taken into custody without incident. Police report there were no injuries.
Childerhose faces multiple charges including assault with a weapon and assaulting a peace officer.
He’s was held for a bail court in Bracebridge.
Police say there’s no ongoing threat to public safety.
