The bridge is expected to reopen this year
Bracebridge area residents can drop by this Saturday, March 20, to get updates on the Silver Bridge reconstruction project.
The event runs from noon to 2 p.m. at Cedar Canoe Books in Bracebridge. District officials will be on hand to answer questions about the $2.4 million rehabilitation, which began after the bridge was closed in January 2025 due to structural concerns.
The bridge set to reopen by the end of 2026.
Residents are encouraged to stop by and speak directly with the project team.
