The shelter says foster homes will help animals thrive
With kids back in school, empty nesters in Muskoka have a chance to make a big difference for animals in need. The Ontario SPCA Muskoka Animal Centre is looking for foster volunteers to provide temporary homes for dogs and cats who are too young, sick, injured, or stressed to thrive at the shelter.
Foster families help with medical care, training, or bottle feeding, and offer a safe space for animals to grow until they’re ready for adoption.
The SPCA says fostering not only helps pets, it brings joy and purpose to the people opening their homes. For more information, visit ontariospca.ca/foster.
