The training will be running until November 4th
Muskoka Lakes firefighters are training this week with a Mobile Live Fire Unit at Port Carling’s Fire Station 6.
The propane-powered simulator, run by Ontario Fire College instructors, lets crews practice fire suppression, pumper operations, and incident management in a safe, controlled environment. Residents may notice smoke or extra fire personnel from until November 4.
The provincial program brings hands-on, high-risk scenario training directly to local departments, helping firefighters stay ready for real emergencies.
