The Lake of Bays man died at the scene
A 52-year-old Lake of Bays man is dead following a head-on crash involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle near Torrance.
Bracebridge OPP were called to Muskoka Road 169 near East Black Lake Road shortly after 8:30 Saturday night. Bystanders and paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but the motorcycle rider died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Police have charged 22-year-old Janavbir Singh of Springwater Township with dangerous operation causing death. The investigation is continuing.
