The former lodge was purchased by the town and will be converted into public space
The Township of Lake of Bays is inviting residents to help shape the future of a newly purchased property in Dwight.
The township has launched the first phase of public engagement for the former Logging Chain Lodge site, a nearly seven-acre parcel bought last year to preserve it as a community-focused space. Mayor Terry Glover says the goal is to ensure future plans reflect local priorities, building on feedback already gathered through past recreation and planning strategies.
Residents can share their ideas through an online survey open until March 13th, with full design work expected to follow in the coming years.
