Fans poured in the new community centre to see the Leafs practice
Bracebridge was buzzing yesterday as the Toronto Maple Leafs returned to the Muskoka Lumber Arena for a special community practice. More than 900 fans, including students from local schools and players from minor hockey teams, packed the stands to cheer on the Leafs.
Homemade signs, loud applause, and a chance to see NHL players up close made for an unforgettable day. Mayor Rick Maloney says the event gave young athletes lasting memories and thanked the Leafs for keeping their connection with the community strong.
