The suspect has been charged with the deaths of two men
Robert Ladouceur, 52, has been charged in connection with the deaths and dismemberment of two men linked to a Barrie encampment investigation.
Barrie Police say the case has expanded to include extensive searches at several locations, among them a rural property on Yearly Road in Huntsville and a home in north Simcoe County.
The victims have been identified as 45-year-old William “Blake” Robinson and 41-year-old David Cheesequay.
Police say no further details will be released until a news conference scheduled for Tuesday, August 26 at 11 a.m. at Barrie Police Headquarters.
Ladouceur faces charges including first- and second-degree murder, along with two counts of indignity to a dead body. He remains in custody with a bail hearing set for Friday.
