The Huntsville Fire Department has recognized the dedication and service of its members during its annual recognition ceremony earlier this month.
The event held on July 6th, brought together firefighters, their families, municipal leaders, and community members to celebrate achievements and milestones within the department.
Firefighters were honoured for years of service, while new recruits were officially welcomed with the presentation of their helmets.
Fire Chief Gary Monahan says the ceremony is an important tradition that recognizes the commitment of firefighters and the families who support them.
