Smith pointed out local investments in water and sewer infrastructure in Huntsville
Delegates at this year’s Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference in Ottawa say housing and infrastructure remain top concerns, along with uncertainty over tariffs. Parry Sound–Muskoka MPP Graydon Smith, attending his 15th AMO, said he and his team held 30 meetings in just three days.
Smith pointed to Premier Doug Ford’s recent $1.6 billion pledge to speed up homebuilding and infrastructure, noting Muskoka has already seen $50 million earmarked for Huntsville water and sewer projects.
Smith says collaboration will be key as municipalities look for solutions.
