Hope Arises Project Inc. is hosting its first-ever Gala of Hope on Friday, at the Algonquin Theatre in Huntsville.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a mix and mingle, followed by a ribbon skirt fashion show at 7 p.m., live drumming, Indigenous food, guest speakers, a live auction, and a screening of the locally shot film Red Girl Rising.
All funds raised will support the organization’s educational programs, including a birch bark canoe build and initiatives for Indigenous youth and community mental wellness.
