$30K has been awarded to 9 groups
The Town of Gravenhurst is giving a boost to local groups, awarding $30,000 in grants through the Terence Haight Financial Assistance Program.
Nine organizations are receiving support for events, improvements, or community programs — including the Gravenhurst Curling Club, Gravenhurst High School Robotics, and YWCA Muskoka’s Girlz Unplugged.
Mayor Heidi Lorenz says council is proud to back groups that make a difference in the community and thanked them for their ongoing efforts.
