The man is fighting for his life
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for 22-year-old Austin Anderson, who sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a boat on Skeleton Lake on the weekend.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene on Saturday afternoon, where members of the public had already pulled Anderson from the water. He was later airlifted to a Toronto hospital. Doctors have shared that the likelihood of him recovering is, heartbreakingly, very low.
Police have arrested and charged 39-year-old Richard Moore of Niagara Falls with impaired operation and failure to stop at the accident scene.
