Concerns about algae blooms, warming water and pollution are putting lake health in the spotlight, and Muskoka residents can learn more through a free webinar series starting tomorrow (January 20).
The three-part series, called How Lakes Work, features leading Canadian water scientists and runs Tuesday evenings through February 3. Topics include climate change, ice loss, lake physics and threats to Ontario’s lakes.
The webinars are hosted by the Muskoka Steamships and Discovery Centre and Friends of the Muskoka Watershed, with registration required online.
